ACUPUNCTURE

What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is part of a holistic health system known as Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). It involves the insertion of very fine needles into specific locations in the body. Acupuncture intends to promote the regulation of the nervous system to support the bodies natural healing response. Acupuncture is used to treat a range of conditions, from acute illness to long standing illnesses. It is also a useful form of preventative medicine, supporting regular wellness and balance within the body.

I offer a holistic therapeutic approach, with a focus on acupuncture for women’s health, preparing to conceive, fertility and hormonal support, pregnancy and post-partum, therapeutic support for birth trauma and challenging birth or perinatal experiences, therapeutic support for early-life attachment wounding, processing emotions in the body, and supporting embodied health and well-being.
